• Pandora, Q2 2026 (reported 13 Aug 2026): 3% organic growth against 2% expected, and a raised full-year profit outlook — while the CEO publicly describes a strategy of moving beyond the plain silver charm bracelet toward distinctive, story-led collections.

Read those four together and the pattern is obvious: the volume is in charms, but the money is following meaning. Pandora is the largest charm business on earth and it is deliberately shifting away from the generic version of its own category.

The sentimental version wins — and here's why

A trend charm has a shelf life. A sculptural padlock or a resin mushroom is fun for a season, and then it lives in a drawer with the bag charms from 2024. That's not a criticism; that's just what fashion charms are for.
